Once you’ve found the right position, click "Apply" and complete our full application form. Or upload your CV and answer a couple of key questions.

Our recruitment panels carefully review every application against the role criteria. If your skills and experience align well with the role, we will reach out to arrange an interview.

Interviewing with CHAS

We hope our interview process gives you the opportunity to bring your best. Here’s what to expect and how to prepare:

Our interviews are panel based and normally in person; these typically involve competency-based questions and lend well to STAR based answers.

You may also be asked to complete a task or a presentation. These are designed to provide an insight into your skill in tasks that you will perform as part of the role. 

We strive to be an inclusive hirer and are happy to discuss and make adjustments to this process where possible. 

Joining CHAS

Following a successful interview, we conduct several checks, including reference checks, right to work, professional registration and qualifications verification, as well as a PVG membership or Basic Disclosure Scotland check (depending on the role and location).
