Aaron adored the CHAS at Home Nurses. They became friends; they understood his sense of humour and he’d get excited when he knew they were visiting. He always preferred the company of adults as he was so susceptible to sound, so he’d sometimes be uncomfortable around a lot of other children.

Care at home
Care and support in the comfort of your home
Our CHAS at Home nurses can provide the same care and support we offer in the hospices, in the comfort of your own home. These visits can be one-off visits, or from time to time for respite care as needed to provide.
Support where you are
Support where you are
Home visits can help with breakdowns in care packages, health deterioration, end-of-life care, and hospital support.
Our home support volunteers offer practical, non-clinical support whilst our CHAS Activities Team can bring a wide variety of creative and exciting fun activities to your family.
Wherever you live in Scotland, we can travel to you so those who live in rural areas or the islands can still receive care and support when you need it most.
Everyone is unique so we support in many different ways
Collaborating with other care teams, we ensure seamless support.
From the early days of diagnosis throughout the child’s life, bereavement and beyond, CHAS will be by your side, helping you to navigate and cope with the journey ahead.
