High quality care

We are committed to providing the highest possible quality of care for children and young people, and this has remained our core focus. Our hospices are regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland, and our care at home by the Care Inspectorate.

We use the Scottish Government's Health and Social Care Standards to guide our work and we have a strong focus on quality improvement.

Integrated family support plans and an increased emphasis on data collection helps us to continually improve our services. Sound clinical care and governance arrangements are in place to ensure the provision of high-quality care and the diligent management of clinical risks.

Well run charity

CHAS is registered with the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) which is an independent regulator and registrar for Scottish charities.

We're also registered with the Fundraising Regulator and will look to surpass the Fundraising Regulator Code of Fundraising Practice wherever possible.
