After the huge success of our first year, we're thrilled to be taking on The Kelpies Experience again in 2026!

Straight from the Horse’s Mouth – this exhilarating challenge will take you inside the legendary Kelpies themselves!

Climb to new heights, take the leap and help change lives with CHAS. Every penny you raise helps CHAS provide care and support for children with life-shortening conditions and their families across Scotland.

What Is The Kelpies Experience?

This is a one-of-a kind guided ariel adventure - the first of it's kind inside the world’s largest equine sculptures. Standing at 30 meters tall and made up of 18,000 steel components, The Kelpies are an awe-inspiring symbol of strength and Scottish heritage.

Guided by experts you'll uncover the fascinating history of Scotland’s canals, the legacy of the Clydesdale Horse, and the vision of sculptor Andy Scott.

What’s Involved?

  • Ascend these iconic sculptures climbing 25 meters through a thrilling route of seven ladders, cable crossings, suspended platforms, nets and aerial obstacles
  • Take in the breath-taking panoramic views from the Kelpies' mouth
  • Descend with either a free hanging abseil, or the unforgettable Quick Flight rope drop!

This challenge is both mentally and physically demanding, involving exposure to heights, ladder climbs, crawling, crouching and navigating uneven and sloped terrain - but the reward is truly unforgettable.

Before committing to this challenge please read the participation agreement. Please note participants must be over 10 years of age and 10-17 year olds must be supervised by a participating adult.
