With dedicated chaplains in each of our hospices, we offer spiritual care to everyone. This open and inclusive support is here for children and young people, along with their family, friends and carers.
Spiritual care is not necessarily religious, although it can be for many people. It’s more about a search for a sense of hope, meaning or purpose – particularly during difficult times. It’s really here to try and help people deal with the big questions that we can all have about life.
Our chaplains offer spiritual, religious and pastoral care at all times. This includes baptisms, child blessings, and funerals – as well as bereavement support. They also offer the opportunity for prayer and reflection, either in the hospices or at home.
Both of our hospices also have quiet rooms. These are open to everyone and simply offer a space for quiet reflection.
Our Lead Chaplain is Amanda Reid, based at Robin House. Amanda can be contacted on 01389 722055
Rev. Ali Pandian is based at Rachel House, and she can be contacted on 01577 865777.
