When it comes to raising money, there are so many different ways that you can get involved. Take part in a challenge, hold a bake sale, or try something new. You can download our Fundraising and Event Guide [PDF, 13Mb] to get you started.
Please get in touch and let us know what you're doing!
You can also simply make a donation to our Every Single Step appeal, helping families caring for dying children across Scotland to make precious memories together.
The delight on a child’s face the first time they play in the sensory room. The day out where mum and dad feel like mum and dad again. The relief when the nurse arrives at the front door, ready to help.
It’s these moments that legacy gifts help to make happen.
Gifts in wills help families to celebrate the lives of their children while they’re together.
Find out how you can support CHAS through legacy giving or Gift in Wills
We understand that writing a will is a very personal statement of your wishes for the future. Once you have provided for your loved ones, please consider leaving a gift to CHAS, allowing families to enjoy their children's short lives.
By leaving a gift in your will, you’ll touch the lives of those families who need our support and give them a happier future, one filled with comfort and family memories.
Take advantage of our no obligation Free Will Offer to write or update your existing Will.
There are normally plenty of challenge events that take place annually all over Scotland, however given the current situation with COVID-19 many of these have been cancelled or postponed - please check out our What's on pages for updates.
Take a look at our events to see if there’s a perfect challenge waiting for you!
Whatever it is that you’re planning to do, there are a few practical things that you’ll need to think about – like first aid and health and safety.
And, if you’re after some fundraising materials – like balloons, buckets, banners and posters – then we’ve got that covered too.
Don’t worry though, you can download our guide to running events and our sponsorship form can help you keep track of all your donations.
Feel free to give us a call on 0141 779 6180 - we can help you through the whole process.
For many of us, staying in is the new going out! So why not hold a Big Dine In and raise funds for CHAS with your friends and family.
Whether you all order a tasty takeaway dish each to bring to the table or put on your black tie attire and have a fine dining experience - we would love you to have your friends and family round for lunch or dinner and ask them to donate what they think their dinner is worth to support children with life-shortening conditions.
To help you make the night a success we can provide you with a Free Big Dine In pack, filled with lots of fun resources such as icebreakers, recipe suggestions, virtual cocktail master classes and much more.
Our ask is simple- host your Big Dine In and ask guests to donate they would have spent on a dinner out - the cost of an average 3-course meal out is around £25.
Interested? Email support@chas.org.uk, mentioning Big Dine In, and our fundraising team will be delighted to help!
Once you’ve achieved your goal and collected all your money, you can pay it online via our online donation form...
Remember to let us know how you raised your money and the best address for us to send a thank you letter to.
If you’d prefer to send us a cheque, please just make it payable to ‘CHAS’ and post it to our Glasgow office.
You can also pay over the phone by simply calling 0141 779 6180.
Let CHAS solve that wedding favour dilemma with one of our three favour options:
Not only do you avoid those tricky decisions - what to give? how much to spend? do you buy or make yourself? - you're helping CHAS achieve our ambition of reaching every child in Scotland that needs our support, as you celebrate your big day.
