Jane is the Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Jane is responsible for ensuring resources are directed and prioritised to best meet the needs of Children and Families.
Jane Smith was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in January 2023.
Leading a committed team of staff across corporate services including finance, facilities, Information Services and Health & Safety, she works with the Senior Leadership Team and colleagues across the organisation to support delivery of effective and efficient services.
Prior to joining CHAS, Jane was Head of Finance & Corporate Services with Perth & Kinross Health & Social Care Partnership with responsibility for planning, performance and financial management. Prior to that she has worked in NHS Boards and Scottish Government in senior finance roles.
She has significant experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams focused on delivering best value, sustainability and innovation.
