Tick a biggie off your bucket list and join Team CHAS on one of the ultimate challenges… an exhilarating trekking adventure to the top of Africa as we summit Mount Kilimanjaro!
The event is now at capacity, if you would like to enquire about other treks or future Kilimanjaro dates, please email teamchas@chas.org.uk.
Standing tall at 5,895m, Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain, and this incredible trek takes you along the beautiful Machame route, which allows you to gradually acclimatise to the altitude as you and your team mates climb to the summit. You'll trek through dense tropical rainforest all the way up to the snow-capped peak to witness awe-inspiring views. This is a tough but spectacularly rewarding challenge, so join Team CHAS and conquer the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro!
This trek is graded as Extreme meaning it has been designed to be challenging but achievable. With well over a year until you depart you have all the time you need to get training and challenge ready, and we will be on hand every step of the way to support you smash your fundraising target!
As this is an open trek (not CHAS exclusive) it is recommended to register sooner rather than later as places sell out quickly… and we want to see as many CHAS t-shirts at the top of Kilie as possible!
Don't panic! The fundraising ask looks big but no matter what option you choose, you will have a dedicated fundraiser to support you from the moment you enquire/register, through the months leading up to the adventure and beyond the point you celebrate having completed your awesome achievement.
In the 2019 Sahara trek, on average the participants raised more than double their minimum target!
